Welcome to Churches Together in Berwick-upon-Tweed

What we represent
Residents and visitors alike enjoy a choice of places to worship in different styles but fundamental to them all is a belief in and commitment to Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord according to the scriptures.  We therefore seek, through Churches Together, to fulfil together our common calling to the glory of the one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

About Berwick-upon-Tweed
Berwick-upon-Tweed is made up of 5 distinct but linked villages – East Ord, Scremerston, Spittal and Tweedmouth, all south of the river and Berwick town on the north bank.  This area has a long a turbulent history, which can be investigated on many other websites.  Christianity arrived in Northumberland in the early 7th Century and has remained at the core of many people’s lives ever since.

What information is on each page?
At the moment you can find basic information about each member church through the links on the left which includes: a post code to help you find us; Regular Service times; other activities and of course contact details if you have further enquiries.
As time progresses we plan to include some history about each church but more importantly, what we are doing together.
This site is young and we need people like you who have found us to give us your thoughts.  Please link through the “contact us” tab at the top of this page and let us know what you like, what you don’t like and what you would like to see in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you to one of our churches some time soon so that you can Worship God with us!

Text Box: Let Love’s unconquerable might Your scattered companies unite In service to the Lord of light: So shall God’s will on earth be done, New lamps be lit, new tasks begun, And the whole Church at last be one: ALLELUIA. (G K A Bell (1883-1958))
