About this church:
Ours is the oldest Church foundation in Berwick and the present structure the only Parish Church built under Cromwell - fine stained glass, Lutyens Reredos, John Knox' pulpit, Genesis Church of The Coldstream Guards. The Church is open every day between 9:00am and 5:00pm for visiting and private prayer and you can be assured of a warm welcome at our regular services of worship. |
Ministry:
Canon Alan Hughes is Vicar of Berwick and lives directly beside the Church (Tel: 01289 306136) where he can be contacted for Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals and other pastoral enquiries. Alan is also Chaplain to Berwick Infirmary, Northumbria Police, Missions to Seafarers Port of Berwick, The Army Cadet Force, Northumbria OTC, Governor of Berwick's two Church Schools and Berwick Middle School, Canon of Newcastle Cathedral. |
Regular service times
Every Sunday
- 8.30am Holy Communion following The Book of Common Prayer (BCP)
- 10am - Parish Communion (Common Worship) followed by refreshments
- 6pm - BCP Choral Evensong - with Holy Communion 1st Sunday of every month
Thursdays
- 10am Holy Communion - Book of Common Prayer
