Churches / St. Peter’s, Scremerston
Address: Scremerston, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 2RB
|
About this church - its core beliefs:
St Peter the Apostle, parish church of Scremerston in the Anglican Diocese of Newcastle was constructed and consecrated between 1842 and 1843. In 1880 the chancel was restored and several stained glass windows inserted. Central to our worship is sung Holy Communion, conducted according to the rite of Common Worship 2000 and following the Lectionary authorised for use in the Church of England. Once a month Common Worship Morning Prayer is used with a quarterly use of the Book of Common Prayer, this reflects the traditional nature of the congregation. |
Ministry:
We are currently without a vicar and are waiting someone to accept the role for our parish. During this time the church is being looked after by the wardens. Please contact Anne Bradley on Tel: 07931 924119
